Both are permissible in Islam under similar scholarly conditions, and both deliver the full reward to the intended person.
Yes — this is a core condition for a valid Badal Umrah. The person performing on behalf of another must have already fulfilled their own Umrah, based on the principle that you cannot transfer what you have not yet completed yourself. All of our scholars are certified in Islamic jurisprudence and have completed both their personal Umrah and Hajj, so every proxy performance is spiritually sound and valid.
If the video does not clearly document a complete Umrah, contact us within 48 hours of receiving it via WhatsApp or email. The scholar enters ihram at the Miqat and recites the niyyah in the recipient's name. They then perform Tawaf — seven circuits around the Kaaba — followed by two rak'ahs of prayer at Maqam Ibrahim, then Sa'i — walking seven times between Safa and Marwa — and conclude with shortening of the hair.
